Baller Alert Radio, featuring your lifestyle specialist, Kenny Burns, with Ferrari Simmons and Su Solo kicked off its 10th episode with a recap of the hottest topics, current events and college homecoming turn-ups.
One of the most talked about moments from the weekend went down at the Rolling Loud Festival in the Bay Area. Video surfaced of Lil B getting jumped backstage of the show by A Boogie and his crew. After the incident, Lil B took the stage to reveal what happened and announce that he forgives the New York rapper and his camp. Shortly after, the two had a talk and settled their beef.
The hosts then discussed Cardi B’s busy weekend, from her short breakup with Offset to her incident at an Albany hotel. Initially, reports surfaced claiming Cardi was kicked out of the hotel because of a noise complaint, however, the rapper took to Instagram to explain her side. She said she was actually kicked out over marijuana smell, when she nor her team smokes weed.
Next, the host discussed Jemele Hill’s suspension and her comments about it. The hosts were disappointed in Hill’s comments that she deserved a suspension because she has a right to her own opinion. But, when discussing one’s own comments in relations to how it affects their employer, the hosts divulged about Hazel E’s homophobic comments that led to her dismissal from “Love and Hip Hop Hollywood.”
This week’s baller mail discussed being friends with an ex, can you? Is it possible to have a platonic relationship with someone you were once intimate with? The hosts agreed that it may be okay to be cordial, but being friends with an ex is a stretch.
Su Solo then dished on this week’s comment creepin, featuring Nicki Minaj. Who is holding back her record with Lil Uzi? Is it Atlantic to help push Cardi B?
To wrap up this week’s episode, Kenfucious gave provided the good word, saying, “go forth, prosper, be great and don’t judge nobody else for the same things you could fall flat on your face for too.”
