In case you missed it, the hosts kicked off the show with a discussion Diddy’s recent public service announcement about owning the Carolina Panthers. Upon learning of Jerry Richardson’s decision to sell the team amid sexual misconduct allegations, Diddy jumped on the opportunity, with several others, including Steph Curry and Colin Kaepernick, expressing interest in joining the ownership group as well. The hosts then went on to discuss Rick Ross’ petty moment with Birdman, where he accused the rapper of borrowing money from his girl, Toni Braxton.
As the episode continued, the hosts touched on sexual misconduct in Hollywood, specifically, allegations brought forth by Terry Crews. The hosts discussed the actors’ recent tweets, where he accused Russell Simmons, who is facing his own allegations, of trying to silence him as he attempted to speak out about the allegations. The hosts then touched on Nicki Minaj’s recent Instagram post, which has since been deleted, where she spoke on the Hip-hop charts, which were filled with white rappers. The hosts then spiraled into a full-blown discussion about culture vultures in the industry and how, we, as a culture can break the cycle by supporting our own, instead of following the trend.
Next, Simmons read this week’s Baller Mail about finances. Would you stay with a man who is bad with money? What if he was $15,000 in the hole? As the episode continued, Su Solo read this week’s Comment Creepin featuring Iggy Azalea, who was bashing her ex, Nick Young after TMZ spotted the two at the same restaurant.
