The Baller Alert Show, featuring your lifestyle specialist Kenny Burns, with Ferrari Simmons and Su Solo, kicked off its 32nd episode with a recap of the hottest topics and current events from the previous week.
In case you missed it, the hosts paid homage to the late, great, Notorious B.I.G. on his birthday! The three also shouted out the legendary Busta Rhymes for his birthday before discussing the Billboard Music Awards. Although the show was interesting, the hosts believed there wasn’t much promotion for it, and felt as if celebrities weren’t as excited for the show as they usually are. Nevertheless, the celebrities that were there showed up and showed out, including Janet Jackson, who received the Icon Award. In fact, the legendary songstress became the first black woman to win the award. Black Girl Magic!
As the episode continued, the hosts discussed the recently settled beef between Casanova and 6ix9ine. The hosts took the time to applaud the two men for settling the issue without letting it resort to violence or more. Next, the hosts jumped into the Amber Rose interview, where she discussed labels and the double standards that come with having sex with multiple partners. While Rose argued that the same situation would make her a slut, the interviewer said it would make him…”a slut maker.” What are your thoughts?
Finally, as the segment wrapped, Burns held a moment of silence for Lil Tay, after she was exposed for being a fake and phony. In fact, video footage surfaced of the 9-year-old social media star being coached to be ignorant and ratchet. As a result, the hosts are almost positive that Lil Tay is a victim of child abuse.
In the next segment, Simmons discussed whether or not it is appropriate post a photo of your ex if the man or woman has moved on. Well, is it okay for an ex to post a picture with their ex if the ex has moved on? Quick answer: No. Long answer: it depends on the tenure of your relationship. What do you think?
As the episode continued, Su shared this weeks comment creepin featuring Khloe Kardashian at the playoff game in Cleveland. In the photo, a fan took a picture of Khloe with the caption, “Issa Kardashian curse” but the reality star and new mom was not here for it, so she clapped back, calling him “Corny ass.” In another comment creepin post, the hosts discussed the Royal Wedding and Charlamagnes decision to highlight the Royal union between an Ethiopian prince and an American woman. Although Masika was not here for Charla trying to steal the spotlight from Meghan Markle, Su believes Charlas as a right to feel that way, especially since the media chose to highlight the fact that Markle’s biracial. What do you think?
In the end, Kenfucious closed the episode with some Monday Motivation: “everybody ain’t gonna be your friend and it’s okay.”
