The Baller Alert Show, featuring your lifestyle specialist Kenny Burns, with Ferrari Simmons and Su Solo, kicked off its 45th episode with a recap of the hottest topics and current events from the previous week.
In case you missed it, the hosts highlighted this week’s releases from Ella Mai to Usher and Quavo, who also released a response record to Nicki Minaj’s “Barbie Dreams.”
Nicki (Nicki), do you love me? (Please) / Why you crying? (Why?) / She don’t wanna be a queen unless she got me (Queen) / She don’t wanna be on scene unless we married (On scene) / No cap (No cap, yeah), for real (Hey) /Tea in my double cup, it can’t spill (Tea) / Left the fire on the dresser at the hotel (Fye, yeah) / Drunk as hell, made her cook some RO-TEL (Whip it, whip it),” the musician raps. “If the truth hurt, then I won’t tell (Truth).”
While Su had trouble believing the claims, Burns said he believed it to be true. But whether it is true or not, it was perfect timing. Especially with the official ending of Drake and Pusha T.
In fact, Drake finally opened up about the incident on LeBron James’ “The Shop,” where he explained the tipping point of the beef and Kanye West’s role in the entire ordeal.
Speaking of Kanye, the hosts then discussed his recent antics, which include a trip to Africa, Yeezys in Uganda and of course, the SNL skit that was absolutely genius.
As the segment continued, the hosts talked black love, in the reconciliation of Lala and Carmelo Anthony, and the NBA’s lead over the NFL as America’s Favorite Sport.
Next, Su covered this week’s Baller Mail, in Ferrari’s absence (feel better Rari). This week’s topic, kicking your kids out of the house. What are your thoughts?
To wrap the episode, Kenfucious said, “In life sometimes you have to realize that you need help.”
