The Baller Alert Show, featuring your lifestyle specialist Kenny Burns, with Ferrari Simmons and Su Solo, kicked off its 50th episode with a recap of the hottest topics and current events from the previous week.
First and foremost, rest in peace to the beautiful, Kim Porter.
In case you missed it, Kanye West donated $150,000 to the family of the security guard, Jemel Roberson, who was killed by a Midlothian police officer as he attempted to subdue a shooting subject – after having donated money to the victims of the California wildfires.
In speaking of Kanye, the hosts also discussed a recent statement by Pharrell, in which he claimed people in the industry need to stand by Kanye, despite his political views. But, according to Su Solo, while it is important to support your friends, it’s also very important to sit them down and set them straight.
Next, the hosts discussed 6ix9ine’s gang conspiracy case, in which he is facing life in prison over allegations dating back to 2013. While the entire ordeal is unfortunate, Burns shared a final message to the kids of the social media age, “Children out there, it’s not worth it. Not for likes.”
As the episode continued, the hosts took a deep dive into this week’s Baller Mail, which focused on long term relationships: “Stop staying in relationships just because you’ve been together for a long time.” Then, Su Solo opened the discussion about co-parenting relationships with a comment creeping of Will Smith showing love to his baby mama. As the conversation continued, Burns shed light on Diddy’s co-parenting relationship with Kim Porter just before he ended with Kenfucious says.
“What is meant for you, is for you” – Kenfucious said.
