Baller Alert Show Recap – Episode 82: Botham Jean, Tyler Perry and More

The Baller Alert Show, featuring your lifestyle specialist Kenny Burns, with Ferrari Simmons and Su Solo, kicked off its 82nd episode with a recap of the hottest topics and current events from the previous week.

In case you missed it, the hosts discussed Diddy’s new marketing scheme, in which he released a phone number for fans to directly contact the Bad Boy mogul. In fact, Kenny even called the baller live on air, although he didn’t answer, he highlighted the genius behind the scheme. Next, the three opened up about controversial trial of Amber Guyger and case of Botham Jean, and the following fatal shooting of Joshua Brown, who was Jean’s neighbor and witness who testified against Guyger.

While Su Solo believed the subject shooting to be part of a larger plot, orchestrated by the police, Burns believed that it was also part of a plan, but instead he believed it was to push the narrative and instigate tensions between the black community and police.

As the segment continued, Burns spoke about Raz-B’s recent interview with the Breakfast Club, in which he explained that his allegations against Chris Stokes were behind him, as the two were still family at the end of the day. The hosts also touched on Keisha Bottom’s plan to help fix homelessness with $50 million to Atlanta, Tyler Perry’s incredible accomplishment in opening the largest film studio, ever, and the BET Hip Hop Awards, which went down in Atlanta over the weekend.

In the next segment, Rari shared this week’s Baller Mail, before Su Solo shared this week’s comment creepin. But before the episode wrapped, Burns shared a few words of wisdom.
