Baller Alert Teams Up With NAACP Youth and College To Host a Conversation For The (Counter) Culture

On Tuesday, Baller Alert teamed up with the NAACP Youth and College division, which works to “inform youth of the problems affecting African Americans and other racial and ethnic minorities,” to host an honest conversation about elections and voting ‘For the Counter Culture.’

NAACP’s Tiffany Dena Loftin spearheaded the conversation, alongside former cofounder of Dream Defenders, Phillip Agnew, author, Blair Imani and “Insecure” actor and criminal justice activist, Kendrick Sampson, and provided truthful and honest commentary about the government, politics and the importance of the millennial vote.

As the conversation continued, the panelists discussed the REALISTIC issues within the African American community and its relation to the government, its discriminatory laws and the possible solutions. From job and resettlement programs and reparations to education and public safety, in regards to problematic policing and the war on drugs.

From there, the hosts shared their own experiences and offered detailed commentary about the culture, current events and more, in an attempt to educate the youth of our culture!
