In the mix of rap beefs, one of the most controversial beefs of all time was between 2 Pac and Notorious B.I.G. This showed that no one was off limits with punchlines that had you thinking, “Damn!”

On June 4, 1996, 22 years ago today, 2 Pac released “Hit ‘Em Up,” which was a diss song aimed at Biggie, Diddy, and more. The diss record was a response to Biggie’s record “Who Shot Ya.”

Shakur was not happy about the release of “Who Shot Ya” due to him being shot prior to the release of the record. He believed the record was directed towards him. In a Vibe Interview, 2 Pac accused Biggie and Diddy of setting him up or at least having knowledge of the attack and not warning him.
