Chris Brown– C’mon, anything Breezy touches is gold, but the release of ”Indigo,” his second double album with 42 tracks, solidified him as the GOAT.
Kehlani– Just before she gave birth to her new bundle of joy, Kehlani released a solid project, “While We Wait,” and it was just a mixtape! She was definitely celebrating all 2019 with hits like “Nights Like This” ft. Ty Dolla $ign.
Khalid– Khalid released a successful sophomore project. “Free Spirit,” included the song, “Talk” which seemed to be playing everywhere, but it’s a song you really didn’t get tired of hearing.
H.E.R.- “I Used To Know Her” the second compilation album from the singer was filled with hits. Her recent single, “Slide” ft. YG gave us the ultimate Cali vibes.
Teyana Taylor– Teyana Taylor is preparing to release a new album on her own terms after all of the drama with her 2018 release of “K.T.S.E..” The summer banger, “How You Want It” ft. King Combs channels the 90s era of hip hop and R&B, a sound that will never go out of style.
Lucky Daye– the singer’s debut album, “Painted,” gives us a refreshing sound, and his single, “Roll Some Mo” is a musical delight.
Summer Walker– The highly anticipated album, “Over It,” doesn’t disappoint. The sultry tracks set the perfect example of what to expect from the future of R&B.
Ella Mai– Songs of the singer’s 2018 self-titled album are still being released, leaving audiences ready to see what else the singer has in store for her upcoming projects.

SiR– In his second album, “Chasing Summer,” SiR offers up neo-soul sounds with very distinctive songwriting. The single, “Hair Down,” has such a chill vibe, and a feature with Kendrick Lamar gave it even more of an edge.
Beyoncé– Gave the world “Homecoming: A Live Album” and “The Lion King- The Gift.” In spite of mixed reviews, the unapologetic ode to blackness from an American and African perspective set these albums apart from anything else she’s done.
Queen Naija– The YouTuber turned songstress is working on a new album since her self titled debut last year. In the meantime, she’s still putting out singles to satisfy her fans, giving us all the feels and vocals with her singles, “Away From You” and “Good Morning Text.”
BJ The Chicago Kid– Released “1123” earlier this year and his refreshing sound coupled with great vocals made for a solid album.
Ari Lennox– The debut album, “Shea Butter Baby,” is laced with rich sounds and soulful funk. The neo-soul vibes are returning to the mainstream with Ari leading the pack.
Jhené Aiko– Fans are patiently waiting for the release of her new album rumored to be titled, “Chilombo” after her last name. While there’s no current release date, that hasn’t stopped Jhené from penning freestyles like, “Triggered” in the meantime.
Solange– Solo’s 2019 “When I Get Home” album release was the perfect follow up to fan favorite, “A Seat At The Table.”
