Baller Alert’s Year In Review: Ballerific Couples Of 2018

In 2018, there were so many memorable moments that showcased the good and the bad moments of the year. Despite some of the bad times, many couples made it through the year and shared their love and affection on the ‘Gram, with red carpets appearances, date nights, and baecations.

Let’s check out which couples remained the topic of conversation throughout the year in no particular order. 

Barack and Michelle Obama- Our Forever President and First Lady have shown us the true meaning of love and how to support one another. The way these two constantly support and uplift each other is amazing. Plus, their Instagram posts of each other continuously have our hearts melting.

Beyonce and Jay-Z – Earlier this year, the Carter’s kicked off their “On the Run II” Tour and then dropped their joined album, “Everything Is Love.” The album showed how The Carters have gotten through trials and tribulations within their relationship. Although many felt that Bey should’ve left, she showed us how they worked through it together. Now, they are happily in love. 

Russell Wilson and Ciara- Many are still wondering what Ciara’s exact words were when she prayed for Russell Wilson. The couple has continued to flourish daily, between Wilson’s after show surprise and his love for her son, Future, and their daughter. These two are definitely one of our favorite Ballerific Couples. 

Remy Ma and Papoose- Papoose has been holding his wife down for years, and since her release, the two have become the poster-children for #BlackLove. But now, in the wake of the birth of #TheGoldenChild, the Mackie Family is officially complete!

Russell and Nina Westbrook- The Westbrooks have been married for about three years and have welcomed three children since then. They have continued to show that they are madly in love. 

LeBron and Savannah James- The high school sweethearts will always have a soft spot in our hearts. The love and that these two display is indescribable and we can’t get enough of them and their family. There’s nothing like being married to someone you can laugh, joke, and be you’re with. We are definitely here for the LeBron and Savannah!

Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union – The Wades have been married for four years and have shown how they’re the most fun-loving fan favorite couples to ever do it. The Wades are THE social media couple. Both, very active on snapchat, they have no problem sharing the fun side of their marriage with their fans. The couple has since then welcomed their first child together, Kaavia James Union Wade. Definitely a great year for The Wade Family. 

Teyana Taylor and Iman Shumpert– How can you not adore the Shumperts? The couple has been married for a span of two years, and they have been the epitome of “relationship goals,” sporting matching outfits and supporting one another through their own successes. It’s been a pleasure to watch the love their share blossom via Instagram and their VH1 show, “Teyana & Iman.” Oh, and we cannot forget the product of their love, Miss Junie.
