In 2021, there were so many memorable moments that showcased the good and the bad moments of the year. Despite some of the bad times, many couples made it through the year and shared their love and affection on the ‘Gram, with red carpets appearances, date nights, and baecations.
Let’s check out which couples remained the topic of conversation throughout the year in no particular order.
Teyana Taylor and Iman Shumpert- How can you not adore the Shumperts? The couple has been married for a span of five years, and they have been the epitome of “relationship goals,” sporting matching outfits and supporting one another through their own successes. From Iman winning Dancing With The Stars to Teyana’s latest tour. It’s been a pleasure to watch the love their share blossom via Instagram and their reality show along with our Baller Babies, Junie and Rue.
LeBron and Savannah James– The high school sweethearts will always have a soft spot in our hearts. The love and that these two display is indescribable, and we can’t get enough of them and their family. There’s nothing like being married to someone you can laugh, joke, and be you’re with. We are definitely here for LeBron and Savannah!
Russell Wilson and Ciara– Many are still wondering what Ciara’s exact words were when she prayed for Russell Wilson. The couple has continued to flourish daily. The couple shares two children together and baby Future from a previous relationship. But we all know that Papa Russ claims Future as one of his own. These two are definitely one of our favorite Ballerific Couples.
Cardi B. and Offset – Cardi and Offset have been through a lot from breakups to makeups. Since then, the two have shown that they’re more in love than ever. The couple welcomed their second child together on September 4. Offset has three other children from previous relationships.
Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union– Dwayne Wade and Gabrielle Union got married back in August 2014. The couple currently share one child and three from a previous marriage. Wade’s child, Zaya, made headlines after coming out as transgender. The couple has done an excellent job at accepting and loving the child. They have also done a great deal of defensive parenting against and negative press or options regarding the situation.
Lil Durk and India Royale made it official in 2021 with an engagement. The rapper got down on one knee and proposed to India on stage during a Chicago concert. The couple has not announced a wedding date but maybe we will get something in 2022.
