2023 is heading out so it’s only right we do a recap of some memorable, epic, and/or viral moments that took place.
This year many incidents, events, breakups, and more hit the news. Some are more entertaining than others but nonetheless, something to speak about. Check out our top five below.
It goes without saying why the riverboat brawl made our list. The showdown between a group of white people and black people was one for the books. The incident ended up all over the news and on social media. The fight and the folding chair involved instantly became memes and a hot debate.
Cassie’s lawsuit against her former boyfriend Diddy garnered a lot of attention. The allegations of abuse and other odd accusations sent social media into a frenzy.
Chrisean Rock, Blueface, and Jaidyn Alexis
This trio couldn’t stay off the internet with their wild shenanigans and on-and-off beef. They may be the most mentioned this year when it comes to keeping us entertained.
Beyoncé’s Renaissance Tour
The legendary singer was another name that stayed buzzing this year, and for good reason. Our timelines were flooded with fans dressing to the nines to attend her shows across the world. It’s not surprising that Queen Bey had one of the highest-grossing tours of all time.
Jada Pinkett-Smith
Last year it was the Oscar slap that involved her husband Will Smith. But in 2023, Jada got pretty candid when it came to her personal life and shocked the world many times with her openness, especially when she disclosed that she and Will had been separated for years.
It’ll be interesting to see what 2024 has in store for us when it comes to being entertained. Only time will tell.
