MAC Cosmetics has done it again. Over 37K fans signed a petition, about a year ago, requesting a Selena Quintanilla-Pérez collection and it is officially happening. This is going to be one of the most talked about collaborations since the sold out Marilyn Monroe Collection. The collection was revealed this week on MAC Cosmetics’ Instagram. Each of the pieces were showcased via Snapchat by the late singer’s sister, Suzette.
The Selena Collection was inspired by the singer’s signature beauty look. Some of the items in the collection are pictured above (clockwise from top): Eye Shadow in Selena, Lipstick in Como La Flor, Lipstick in Amor Prohibido, Eye Shadow in Fotos y Recuerdos, Lipstick in Dreaming of You, and Techno Cumbia Blush Duo in Ven Conmigo and Blunt. The collection will feature three shades of lipsticks, five eyeshadows, blush, eyeliner, contour, mascara, and Bidi Bidi Bom Bom lipgloss (only available online). You can expect the collection to hit stores and the website in October. Let the countdown begin!

The collection will feature the following:
- Como la Flor lipstick – “The signature red color she would use when she would perform on stage.”
- Dreaming of You lipstick – Deep red lipstick
- Amor Prohibido lipstick – Nude lipstick
- Set of 5 Eyeshadows – Eyeshadows named after her songs like: ‘Is it the Beat,’ ‘No Me Queda Mas.'”
- Contour / Blush
- Eyeliner
- Mascara
- Powder Brush
