Though Marshawn Lynch has officially retired from the NFL, it doesn’t stop him from continuing his philanthropic duties. For his third year in a row, Beast Mode will be heading overseas to host the fourth annual American Football Without Barriers (AFWB) camp. This year the camp is taking on Cairo, Egypt.Â
Alongside Lynch will be New York Jets Breno Giacomini, Cleveland Browns Gary Barnidge, Barkevious Mingo, and Johnson Bademosi, Pittsburgh Steelers DeAngelo Williams, Miami Dolphins Jordan Cameron, Houston Texans Oday Aboushi, former Carolina Panthers quarterback Colby Cameron, and free-agent Erik Lorig.Â
Giacomini and Barnidge started the non-profit camp in 2011 as a way to globalize American football and reach underprivileged youth. This will be the first time in Africa. Previous years included Turkey, Brazil and China. It isn’t all about football, however. The Ballers also plan to dedicate time to visit a children’s cancer hospital during their stay.Â
