The NY Jets QB’s Team Vick Foundation donated brand new Nike sneakers to members of the Boys and Girls Clubs in Harlem, NY and his hometown of Newport News, VA. “Back to my roots! I am really excited about this one!” Vick said of his giveaway in Newport News on Friday. He also thanked his sisters and mother for helping out though he couldn’t physically be there.
Mike Vick and the Team Vick Foundation is giving away a total of 200 new sneakers, including the brand new Nike Lebrons and Jordans. One of the recipients was 6 year old Japheth who has autism.
Mike Vick and his organization do a lot for children. In August he held a back-to-school backpack drive and sponsored text books for first year college students.
