The holidays are a time to really focus on giving back to those who are less fortunate. Following his Christmas Day win against the Cleveland Cavaliers, Golden State guard Stephen Curry and the Feed The Children organization teamed up to give back to Oakland on Saturday.Â
Steph, Ayesha Curry and even little Riley were hands on in packaging and handing out food supplies and toiletries to over 400 families in need. Each family received a  25-pound box of food and a 10-pound box of personal care items.
“Being able to impact the East Bay community and the Bay Area at large is definitely important with this being our home,” said Curry. “It’s nice that what we do on the court can continue to shed light on the initiatives that we have off the court that are, in the grand scheme of things, a lot more important.”
In its third year, this event serves as part of the Warriors’ Season of Giving community outreach initiative funded by the Stephen Curry and Warriors Community Foundations.Â
