It looks like A-Rod may have a new love interest in his life. After being linked to several A-list celebrities including Cameron Diaz, Madonna, and Kate Hudson in the past, the Yankees star has found himself a real boss b*tch.
Sources say that Rodriguez is now dating Anne Wojcicki, the 42-year-old CEO of a genetic research firm called 23andMe. Her company, which she co-founded in 2006, provides information to consumers about their genetic history and also researches diseases like Parkinson’s and asthma. The brilliant and innovative Yale graduate is not A-Rod’s usual type, and she has more money than him. Wojcicki was previously married to Sergey Brin, the co-founder of Google, and as a result of their divorce in 2015, her net worth further increased, making her a billionaire.
Rumors about the relationship between Rodriguez and Wojcicki first started when the two were spotted together in San Francisco over Super Bowl weekend. They were seen again in Tampa last week having dinner together, and then at an event that Wojcicki was speaking at for her company. An insider confirms the relationship to Page Six, saying, “Alex and Anne are spending time together and have been on a few dates. It is very new. He finds her interesting, inspirational and very smart.”
