BALLERIFIC EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW WITH B. SCOTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

With technology growing in numbers these days its hard to keep up with the sign of the times. You’ve witnessed B. Scott at his highs & lows. Many of you have laughed til you were in tears at his vibrant, yet bubbly personality. He definitely is a busy individual, but not too busy to talk with yours truly of BallerAlert.Com. There’s more to B. Scott than meets the eye. Everything about him is beautiful, from his spirit to his flawless skin.

Enjoy the ride as we talk about his start in video blogging, being comfortable in your own skin, “love muffins” & more!!!

BA: How did you get started with blogging? What keeps you motivated, & do you recommend blogging as a profession?

B. Scott: It started on January 1, 2007, when I moved to LA, I had been doing print work & I was getting jobs here & there, & realized I was more than just a pretty face, I have something to say, lovebscott.com came about as a way to voice my opinion & share it with other people. A couple of months later, possibly May or June 2007, I did my 1st youtube video, & thats when things began to really take off.

What keeps me motivated, my youtube videos initially were therapy for me. Whether it was something funny, or emotional I was going through, An outlet, it got to a point where more & more people were watching. Its a way to share myself with people. To encourage & share myself with people is beautiful.

Would I recommend, I don’t know!!!! Its very hard, people think it produces more money than it actually does. However, if you stick with it, it CAN as it has done for me. You just have to stay committed to it & know the real reason in why you’re doing it.

BA: How did you come up with the name “love muffins” for your fans?

B. Scott: My grandmother called me muffin, but I’m not sure where love muffin came from. I have a very creative spirit, & when I get on camera, things speak to my spirit & love muffin just came about.

BA: What advice can you give those individuals who aren’t comfortable with who they are?

B. Scott: We’re all a work in progress. When people see me, they do see I’m very confident & I do accept myself. You have to really dig deep, & begin the process of really accepting & loving yourself. I went to the mirror & said it is what it is.I am who I am. I can’t change my sexuality, I can’t change how I look, unless I do plastic surgery & that’s not an option(laughs). It starts with Affirmative statements. Always focus on the positive& don’t dwell on the negative. Something negative happens, let it go & learn from it & move on. People have a tendency to beat themselves up. Stay away from negative energy. Affirmative statements have definitely changed my life; its all about the law of attraction.

BA: We tend to give our ladies here on BallerAlert beauty/skin care tips, what advice can you share?

B.Scott: Do not over clean & moisturize your skin. I cleanse my face once at night & use a little bit of moisturizer. I allow my skin to moisturize itself. Your body has a way of cleansing & moisturizing itself all on its own. Natural is better. So my number one tip is to don’t overdo it.

BA: Do you have groupies? If so, what is the craziest thing someone has done to get next to you?

B. Scott: I have stalkers, groupies. The craziest thing that has happened to me & most awkward I was in the a bathroom, & a guy walked up to me as I was peeing, looked at me & my ding ding, and said “Are you B. Scott”, I’m such a fan. I’m like, yes. It was very awkward conversation to have while you’re urinating. People have researched my address in LA and have showed up to my apartment. I love all my fans. I’m a firm believer in killing people with kindness. I’ve never feared for my safety, but at time things have come awkward. I would like to believe that no one would want to harm me. When people meet me, they’re like, OMG you’re so nice, & I’m like how would you expect?(laughs). I just pray to God everyday that I can be the best person I can be, & thats how I try to live my life.

BA: Forbes released a list for “web ballers”, do you see yourself on that list in the future?

B.Scott: Ummm, no I don’t. I see myself on the regular list. Eventually, the list of Forbes most wealthiest people. Its weird, people compare me to people like Perez. I see myself on the lines of Ellen, Tyra Banks, a different version of Oprah. I set my goals high, you know what I mean? Think Big, you know. I think Oprah said it best, God has a plan bigger than you see for yourself. So i don’t just want to be a “web baller”. I checked out the site, its on point, very professional.

BA: What are some of your favorite blogs outside of your own?

B. Scott: My favorite, umm, Crunk & Disorderly, cracks me up. I goto her for stuff that I wouldn’t say in real life, (laughs). When I first started I had more time to check out other blogs, but now things are really busy. I’m trying to make the transition to television. When I’m not on camera, I’m meeting with agencies on the back end, for when people needs hosts, etc, I’m getting myself out there, so people will know who I am, so I can be someone they call on.

BA: With March Madness well underway, are you supporting your Alma Mater, UNC?

B. Scott: Oh, of course I am. UNC, Go Tarheels! I think they’re going to win it this year. Sometimes they jinx you when they project to win, but hopefully they’ll take it all this year.

During the time of the interview, B. Scott was in the process of planning his birthday party @ Pop Burger (March 21) of which he extended the invitation to. However, I was unable to make it, so for coverage of his party, you can check out www.lovebscott.com

It was definitely a pleasure in talking to B. Scott. His spirit is definitely beautiful. If there was ever a word in which I could fully describe him, simply put; LOVE. For those wanting to learn more on him, check him out at www.lovebscott.com & follow him on twitter @ twitter.com/lovebscott
