Charity Miles- The perfect app to help you feel like you aren’t completely selfish in your search for the perfect body, charity miles allows you to earn money for charities, every time time you run, walk, or bicycle. The Johnson & Johnson Official 7 Minute Workout- This app is perfect for people who want to workout, but just cant find the time. In as little as 7 minutes, or 11 if you add the warm up, you can get a medium-intensity workout including jumping jacks, pushups and crunches. With just 7 minutes, and a chair, this app will help you stop making excuses, and get active.
MyFitnessPal- If you’re like me, the working out part of being healthy, isn’t the issue, rather the high calorie foods I binge eat. MFP get’s that in check, by helping you make better food decisions, by tracking all of your food, how much calories you intake, and how many you burn. In addition, MFP can help you decide on a goal weight, and calculate the correct calories you should intake to meet that goal, as a result.
Nike Training- Can’t afford a personal trainer? With the Nike training app, that’s not an issue. With hundreds of workout’s, you can select different target areas (arm, legs, stomach), to get a list of effective timed routines. The app even gives you voice over encouragement throughout the routine, just like your trainer would.
PumpUp- This app gives you the option of various workouts and routines, but what separates it from the rest is the support system that comes with it. Along with fitness, the app’s sole purpose it to provide a safe and supportive space to share your fitness journey. That means you can connect with other people and check their progress, ask questions, or exchange advice.
Most of these apps are free, and require little information to get you started. Head to the app store today and see which will meet your needs the best.
