Ballerific Health: She Didn’t Stop

At 25 years old with a 3 year old, 1 year old and another new born I was rapidly gaining weight and doing my best as a struggling stylist.  I was slowly losing myself.  I went to school for Marketing and Psychology and people were telling me you should just get a job but my dream wouldnt let me.  GOD said no that was part of your plan, but not the life I have for you.  You must work on you and I will give you more. I took every diet pill on the market and ended up in the hospital numerous times.  He kept saying no Trayce that’s not it!  Im like why not!!…..silence………

I fought that for 10 years! 10 years! Whew 10 long years! Then 4 years ago topping 275lbs I was no longer able to function normally and I started silently thinking you know what if I don’t do something im going to be 300 lbs and my quality of life with my 3 kids was going to be compromised.  As far as my clients they had no idea I was working 16 hrs days in dire pain and i was popping pills all day just to normally function (whew crying typing)… I then began having so many panic attacks that one day I couldn’t breathe and my husband had to get up in the middle of the night and rush me into the emergency room.  Trying to handle being a business owner and young wife and mom of 3 had me smiling during the day and at night my brain would let me know i was spiraling out of control and fast!

Fast foward 15 years later at the age of 36 with a 19 year healthy relationship with my husband and now 14 year old son and 11 and 9 year old daughters he’s given me everything I asked for and has promised more! I went from that size 22/24 to a healthy size 6. I now am the CEO of 3 business entities and working on my 4th. The reason I help others so much is so many tried to take EVERYTHING from me in my career.  Even some I called friends. They did so many unthinkable things just to take me out the game because i was not just good I had vision and i was GREAT! I never lashed out i just fought 20 times harder so I know what it means to start from nothing.   I can’t wait to see how many people and cosmetologists im able to help grow .  It’s my PURPOSE DRIVEN LIFE! I walk this daily because I know its not just about me…..its so much more!!!!!! Let no one tell you what you can’t do, dont let the distractions of life get you down, let your haters motivate you to greatness, silence all the roar.. ..stand up and show them YOU CAN!
