Ballerific Kicks: Vince Staples to Release Three-Piece Collection in Collaboration with Converse

Following in the footsteps of the rappers before him, Vince Staples is now leaving his mark on the shoe game.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀
Staples announced his latest collaboration with Converse to create a three-piece capsule collection that is set to drop on Jan. 25.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀
The collab features revamps of two classic Chuck Taylor designs: the Chuck 70 Hi and the Chuck 70 Ox. Staples’ rendition of the shoe features orange accents and graphics from his recent album ‘Big Fish Theory’, in addition to an aquarium print on the inside.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀
The colorway and corresponding prints also coincide with the rapper’s LP, which shows a goldfish on the cover art. In addition to the shoes, Staples’ Collection will also feature a hoodie with the “SEA” acronym on the back as an ode to the rapper’s Section Eight Arthouse radio show.
