New Music Friday has arrived and the long-awaited Lil Baby album has finally landed.
“WHAM” arrived with 16 tracks and several heavy-hitting guest appearances from GloRilla, Young Thug, Future, 21 Savage, Travis Scott, Rod Wave, and Rylo Rodriguez. The project has arrived three years after his “It’s Only Me” album and comes at a pivotal time for Baby’s career. Many online have questioned whether or not the Atlanta star still has the same passion he did at the beginning of his career. Some have even accused his music of being boring these days. While initial reviews of the “WHAM” remain divided online, Baby has seemingly heard much of the chatter and returned with a vengeance.

Trae tha Truth also had a big day musically. After a happy ending to his personal drama involving his missing daughter, the Texas star has returned with “I’m On 4.0.” The record features appearances from the late DMX, Busta Rhymes, Ty Dolla Sign, Joyner Lucas, Chance the Rapper, Jeezy, Jay Rock, Method Man, G Herbo, Mark Morison, and D Smoke. The star-studded single is just Trae’s latest in his arsenal, signaling an album is on the horizon.
Though this New Music Friday was relatively quiet, several other singles emerged from the likes of soul singer Alexia Jay and Plies.
