New Music Friday is here, and hip-hop certainly has a stronghold on this week’s releases.
Friday, July 19th, marked the release of JT’s long-awaited solo debut, “City Cinderella.” The 16-song project offers a masterclass in hustling, street life, and her rise from numerous hardships to superstardom. “City Cinderella” only included four features from DJ Khaled, Stunna Girl, CLIP, and Jeezy on the hit “Okay” remix. Initial reviews of the tape were mostly positive, with fans breaking down lyrics online.
JT ending her ‘Like Dat’ verse w/ “and ima baddie bitch like stunna girl” then stunna ending her ‘Lemon Pepper’ verse with “I’m pretty in real life like I’m JT” is so cute and genius 😭 #CityCinderella
