Wembanyama, fresh off his impressive rookie season, arrived in the “Wookiee of the Year” Nike GT Hustle 3—a custom shoe that combines his passion for basketball with his love for the “Star Wars” universe.
The Nike GT Hustle 3 pays tribute to the iconic “Star Wars” character Chewbacca, featuring fur accents and designs that highlight the legendary Wookiee. While the shoe stands out with its unique style, it also serves as a nod to Wembanyama’s Rookie of the Year achievement.
Last season, Wembanyama made a strong impact on the court, playing in 71 games and averaging 21.4 points, 10.6 rebounds, and 3.6 blocks per game. He also represented France in the 2024 Paris Olympics, where he helped secure a silver medal.
