#LA Rams running back #TreMason has been absent from the mandated training camp since its start date and was subsequently placed on the Reserve/Did Not Report List.
Head Coach Jeff Fisher has not spoken to Mason since last season. “I haven’t personally spoken with Tre since the season ended. I tried numerous times to reach him. Tre has made a decision not to communicate with us, not to talk. Not talking to his teammates. Right now we’re more concerned about Tre Mason’s well-being than we are his football career”, Fisher stated.
Mason was excused from OTA sessions in June due to “personal reasons”. #TMZ reported last month prior to the start of camp that Mason’s behavior concerned his family. There was an incident at the former #Auburn powerhouse’s residence in Florida where police were called. NO ONE WAS HURT and Mason WAS NOT arrested. The July 23rd incident was enough to raise concern. According to reports, Mason allegedly told responding officers he would call the White House and have them fired and made bizarre statements. TMZ noted that Mason had previously agreed to check into a facility to resolve the issues.
As of now, no one knows Mason’s location. His safety and health is a priority. There isn’t a definitive explanation regarding his recent behavior. As stated before it could be caused by several things including, but not limited to early signs of #CTE and/or depression. As a survivor of depression, I know how lonely things can appear. Factor in the constant attention, it can be overwhelming. This is a difficult time for Tre Mason. Support and Genuine concern is needed. Prayerfully, he is somewhere safe regrouping. It is my sincerest hope Mason will be able to move forward and put this chapter behind him. BallerAlert #BallerficSports
