Universal Orlando Resort has officially announced the opening date for its upcoming theme park, Epic Universe. The park will open on Thursday, May 22, 2025. This new addition will mark the resort’s fourth park, joining Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure, and Volcano Bay.
Fans can start planning their visit soon, with multi-day tickets and vacation packages including access to Epic Universe available starting Tuesday, October 22. Universal annual passholders will get the first chance at single-day tickets on Thursday, October 24. While the general public will have to wait for single-day tickets, Universal says they will be available “in the months ahead.”
Epic Universe will feature five themed areas, including Celestial Park, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, Super Nintendo World, How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk, and Dark Universe. The park will also include the Universal Helios Grand Hotel, offering 500 rooms and exclusive park access for hotel guests.
“This is an exciting moment for Universal Orlando, and we’re looking forward to welcoming guests to Epic Universe next year,” said Karen Irwin, president and COO of Universal Orlando Resort, in the press release.
Universal first teased Epic Universe back in 2019, giving fans a preview of what to expect with a name reveal and concept art. The park will offer over 50 attractions, dining, shopping, and entertainment options, making it a must-visit destination for theme park lovers.
