Ballerific Fashion: Balmain Teams Up with Netflix’s ‘Stranger Things’

The creative director of Balmain is like many people obsessed with Netflix’s hit show, Stranger Things.  Olivier Rousteing is so obsessed that he just had to tap into an exclusive collaboration with the fantasy-horror show.

The Limited-Edition Balmain x Stranger Things Collection drops on Stranger Things Day (November 6).

Stranger Things Day became official when Netflix announced it would show season 3 spoilers and the entire Vol. 2 in theaters near you.  Participating cities include Los Angeles, Seattle, Dallas, Detroit, Las Vegas, Miami, New York, and more.  Netflix also announced live and virtual events on the day and a packed schedule.

The Balmain collection is dedicated to the main characters of Stranger Things, so whomever you feel you relate to the most will have their fits.

Rousteing says, “But how could you not be in awe of all those incredible looks? I may not be a child of that moment, but those familiar with my Balmain runways already know that I’ve always been mesmerized by the singular pop spirit of that era.”

Netflix reached out to Balmain with the exclusive deal, and Rousteing confirmed, “I was immediately on board.”

HELLO reports, “The collection channels the signature bright and effervescent stylings and inimitable cuts that set apart the eighties’ music videos, jazzercise workouts and mall-rat uniforms.”

Of course, the Stranger Things logo will be included.
