NFL star Cole Beasley, who has been adamant about not getting the vaccine during the off-season, will miss the Buffalo Bills key game against the New England Patriots on Sunday after testing positive for COVID-19.
Beasley blamed the NFL’s “rules” for keeping him out of the game, telling fans on social media, “Just to be clear, Covid is not keeping me out of this game,” Beasley wrote on Instagram. “The rules are vaxxed players are playing with Covid every week now because they don’t test. One of my vaxxed teammates is in the hospital missing games. I’m sure he didn’t get this same energy.”
Beasley thanked his fans and supporters and promised to no longer engage with his critics and detractors.
“Thank you for those who support,” he wrote. “Everyone else, if you don’t get what’s happening, then there is nothing anybody can do for you.”
