If you’re waiting on a hot summer tune from BeatKing and Megan Thee Stallion, consider that a distant dream that will likely not come true.
On Sunday, the Houston rapper/producer responded to a question from a social media user, who asked if the world could “get a @beatkingkong & @theestallion collab before summer’s over?”
BeatKing responded with some interesting claims. He alleges that he has attempted to reach out to Megan and her camp on several occasions but got the cold shoulder because she did not like him.
“Y’all gotta stop asking me this every day lol I’ve tried to work with her for the past 5 years now,” he wrote on X (formerly known as Twitter). “Her manager leaves me on seen. She unfollowed me 3 years ago. SHE DON’T LIKE ME!”

It’s unclear why Megan is actively avoiding BeatKing, but according to many social media users, the issue may have something to do with BeatKing’s relationship with Nicki Minaj. Back in May, Nicki stopped in Houston for her Gag City Tour. Unbeknownst to the Barbz in the crowd, Nicki took a moment to step off stage but still kept the audience entertained with a string of Houston artists, including Kirko Bangz, T-Wayne, and, of course, BeatKing.
Now, this could just have been a coincidence as most artists typically bring out natives from whatever city they’re performing in. However, this just may be deeper than what we see on the surface. Nonetheless, hopefully, Megan and BeatKing can patch up whatever their issues are as the streets are waiting for a good hit!
