Beenie Man Hospitalized after Collapsing At His Mothers Funeral

Beenie Man has been hospitalized after collapsing at his mother’s funeral.

Hot 97’s website posted a video of Beenie Man fainting into the arms of men around him during his mother’s ceremony this past Sunday. His current condition is not yet known.

In July, his mother, Lilieth Sewell suffered from a stroke and was hospitalized at the University of the West Indies. After she was released from the hospital her health took a turn for the worst and she passed away in September at the age of 63.

Beenie Man has already been honoring his mother prior to her passing: he’s funding the creation of a community center in Kingston, Jamaica which he named after her and his late grandfather. The Beenie Man Foundation recently collaborated with sponsors to provide Covid-19 relief packages.

According to Buzz-Caribbean, “It was a very emotional and nostalgic journey going back to the community and home that bred a spectacular man today. The love and support that was brought out today is nothing short of love and unity within the community.”
