The final season of Bel-Air is on the way, and fans are eager to know what happens next after Will’s shocking kidnapping in the season 3 finale.
Baller Alert caught up with Jimmy Akingbola (Geoffrey) and Adrian Holmes (Uncle Phil) at the NAACP Image Awards, where they teased what’s ahead and whether Will Smith himself might make a cameo before the series wraps.
When asked about the possibility of Smith appearing in the final season, Holmes didn’t rule it out. “Will has a very busy schedule, but he has voiced that he would love to be a part of the show.” Akingbola added, “We got him on camera, and I put it on him. Jeffrey does his job—I handled it, and he said yes. So if he doesn’t, Will, man… are you a man of your word or no?”
But before fans get too caught up in a potential cameo, the biggest question remains: What happens to Will after his abduction?
Last season ended with Geoffrey trying to escape his past, which led to his old gang kidnapping Will as leverage. Holmes confirmed that the upcoming season will focus on getting Will back, hinting that the Banks family is in for some serious drama.
“The family’s been through a lot, and there’s been a lot of change, so I think this season is really going to reflect that,” Holmes shared.
Akingbola and Holmes even imagined how a Will Smith cameo could play out, suggesting a dream sequence where Jabari Banks’ Will sees an older version of himself played by Smith, or even a reunion between Will and the original Jazz (DJ Jazzy Jeff).
Could Bel-Air pull off a major full-circle moment with Smith stepping in for the finale?
