As Donald Trump attempts to fill his cabinet, Ben Carson, retired neurosurgeon who ran for president this election season before bowing out, was among the men considered for a job. According to several reports, Trump floated the idea of Carson possibly becoming Secretary of Health and Human Services or even head the U.S. Department of Education. Now it appears Carson doesn’t want the job because he feels he is inexperienced due to the fact he’s never held political office before.
Armstrong Williams, business manager and close friend of Carson, confirmed with TheHill.com that Carson would not be joining Trump’s administration.
Yes, Ben Carson who ran for president with no government experience, believes he is too inexperienced to head Health and Human Services. Ben Carson, who has never worked in politics, believes he would be doing a disservice to Donald Trump, someone who also has no experience in politics.
I can’t make this up.
Ben Carson isn’t totally against helping Donald Trump, though. He says he is open to an advisory position — unofficially of course.
