Though it’s warmer outside, it doesn’t mean it’s springtime. However, Ben & Jerry’s wants consumers to feel the warm weather with churro-flavored ice cream, which is perfect for the festival season.
The cinnamon-y and churro flavor ice cream has been on the brand’s portfolio for a while; now, it’s finally happening.
A silky butter texture mixed with a crunch lays the base for the mouth-watering ice cream, along with cinnamon and sugar.
“We interpreted the crunchy, sugary exterior of the churro into a swirl and buttery cinnamon ice cream for this flavor, while the cake-like interior texture of a churro is incorporated as soft, indulgent pieces throughout,” said Natalia Butler, flavor guru at Ben & Jerry’s. “We gave fans the base, but if you want to amp it up, you can have it with some chocolate or caramel drizzle.”
In addition to Churray for Churros ice cream, the company also released Change is Brewing, Chocolate Milk and Cookies (a spinoff from the original Milk and Cookies), Lights! Caramel! Action!, Chocolatey Love A-fair, and Dirt Cake.
