50 Cent is stirring the pot again, and this time it’s involves Benzino. On Instagram, the “Candy Shop” rapper posted a now-viral clip of Benzino lying on the floor, visibly distraught and holding a knife. The caption, however, made it even more controversial.
Video of Benzino
“Benzino caught on video, by his girlfriend Ashley Bell, threatening to unalive himself with a knife because she called the cops for him allegedly beating her,” 50 wrote.
The post set social media ablaze, with fans and critics alike debating the situation. While the clip painted a concerning picture, Benzino quickly jumped in to set the record straight.
Taking to social media, Benzino posted his own video, addressing the allegations and the footage. In the video, he claimed the scene was not what it appeared to be.
Video of Benzion response:
“First and foremost, I just want to let everybody know that I’m okay,” Benzino began. He explained that the video was actually part of a rehearsal for a Tubi movie he’s working on.
“My girl was helping me out. She was doing a script reading, and that was a rehearsal for a Tubi movie. That was the scene from a movie, okay?” Benzino said. He emphatically denied ever being abusive or harming himself. “I would never, ever put my hands on any woman. That’s for cowards. And I surely wouldn’t do anything to hurt myself.”
He then shifted gears to address 50 Cent directly, taking the opportunity to throw a jab at his longtime rival. “Shout out to all the people that were concerned, but I’m okay… Oh yeah, and I also want to let Curtis know, good looking. Thanks, Curtis, for promoting me. Keep on posting me. That’s dope.”
This isn’t the first time 50 Cent and Benzino have clashed online. Their beef dates back years, with 50 often poking fun at Benzino on social media. However, this incident adds a new layer of drama, as it touches on sensitive topics like mental health and domestic violence.
Fans have had mixed reactions to both sides of the story. While some are siding with 50 and questioning Benzino’s explanation, others are criticizing 50 for posting such a personal and potentially damaging clip.
As the drama unfolds, Benzino remains adamant that the video was taken out of context. Whether or not that’s true, one thing is certain—this feud isn’t cooling off anytime soon.
