When Beyonce bleeds, we all bleed, right? No. Just, no.
Over the weekend, Beyonce performed at the Tidal X benefit concert in Brooklyn and during a performance of “Haunted,” the Queen Bey accidentally ripped her ear ring out of her ear when it got caught on to her long braid.  The superstar began to bleed but she continued the show, obviously, and killed it.  However, some of her biggest fanatics felt that if the Queen must feel pain, they should too.
Not long after Beyonce bled on stage, the hashtags #CutForBeyonce and #BleedforBeyonce popped up on Twitter. A few fans then began cutting themselves in solidarity with the superstar.
“If the queen bleeds the hive must unify and leak our blood to restore her spirits,” one super fan tweeted. “Beyhive we must.”
Another wrote: “If Queen B had to endure pain, so do I. Tonight we #CutforBeyonce.”
Now, it’s my hope that these fans are just trolling and that no one is truly cutting themselves over Beyonce. Then again, emotionally unstable fans cutting themselves in solidarity with their favorite superstars is NOT a new thing. Back in 2013, teenage Beliebers cut themselves and posted it on Twitter to get Justin Bieber to stop smoking.
Watch Beyonce take her bleeding like a champ while on stage. True fans will appreciate Beyonce’s work ethic. The rest of you may need to get out of Formation for a little while.
