Forbes recently named The World’s 100 Most Powerful Women. Icons Beyoncé and Rihanna were among those named.

“From fighting the pandemic to reengineering American politics, these influential women—including New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern, Vice President-elect Kamala Harris, and voting rights advocate Stacey Abrams—are making history,” Forbes said.

The 17th annual power list is composed of women from 30 countries and four generations. According to Forbes, “several of this year’s Power Women received global plaudits for their effective responses to Covid-19“. 10 of the woman are heads of state, 38 are  CEOs, and five entertainers.

Forbes Listed Rihana as number 69. According to Forbes, “Rihanna is one of the most publicly charitable celebrities, has donated upwards of $8 million to coronavirus relief efforts”. There is no secret that the singer’s career has been a great deal of success. However, a majority of her fortune stems from her outside business ventures. The singer turned business mogul is the owner of “Fenty Beauty” and “Savage X Fenty.”

Forbes Listed Beyonce as number 72. According to Forbes, her “On The Run II stadium tour with husband Jay-Z grossed roughly $5 million per night, pulling in a total of more than $250 million“. The Pop Icon recently launched her athletic line  “Ivy Park.” She has also graced Tv and theater screens for years, including her most recent projects with Netflix and The Lion King.
