Beyoncé Is A Fan Of “The Chi” & Fans Are Rejoicing

Beyoncé has revealed she’s a fan of “The Chi,” and fellow viewers are thrilled to know they share similar tastes with the Queen. 

She made the revelation during her GQ spread, which set off a chain reaction from fans.  The show’s official Twitter account reposted news of her watching “The Chi” with a hilarious clip of Rolling Ray raving about how Bey knows him.

“Beyoncé has my number.  Me and Beyoncé talks every now and then.  She checks up on me,” Ray says in the viral clip.

Currently, heading into season seven, “The Chi” continues to deliver intense and emotional drama set on Chicago’s South Side.  The season brings back core characters like Emmett, who faces increasing challenges while trying to balance his life with multiple children and relationships.  This season, the characters will continue to grapple with the loss of key figure Otis “Douda” Perry, played by Curtiss Cook.  He was killed at the beginning of season six, and by the end, we learn that it was Nuck, played by Cortez Smith, who killed the suave gangster.  This brazen killing by one of Douda’s henchmen sets the tone for season seven, which will premiere next year.

As we patiently wait to see the next chapters, Bey and other viewers are anxious to see what’s next.
