Beyoncé, LeBron James, and More Make List Of Most Politically Divisive Celebrities

Beyonce and LeBron James are listed as some of the most politically divisive celebrities in the U.S.

When it comes to politics, it’s no longer just the politicians who share their opinions on social issues – celebrities are playing field. Celebrities are also donating their own money and using fundraisers to give to causes they care about like climate change, education, programs that combat sexual assault and more.

But according to a new poll that was released on Monday (Oct. 15), some of those politically-minded celebs have become so involved that they’ve made it to the most politically divisive list. Singer-songwriter and all-around entertainer Beyonce takes the lead, followed by Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh, Ellen DeGeneres, and LeBron James. The survey was conducted by a research company called Morning Consult, which asked 6,000 adults if certain celebrities influenced them to vote or helped them sway their political views. The poll also inquired how Americans felt about celebrities on the list of Forbes’ 100 highest-paid entertainers, according to Insider.

As we all know Beyoncé pretty much influences all facets of life, so much so that she has divided two political parties more than any other celebrity with a 66% difference in net perceptions between Democrats and Republicans.

Others who made the list were JayZ, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Rihanna, George Clooney and Nas.
