Beyoncé made history at the 2025 Grammy Awards, taking home her first ever country Grammy for the track “II Most Wanted” featuring Miley Cyrus.
The award, presented at the pre-ceremony on Sunday (Feb. 2), recognized the song as the best country duo/group performance, marking Beyoncé’s 33rd Grammy win. For Cyrus, it was her third Grammy, following two wins the previous year for her hit “Flowers.”
“II Most Wanted” bested strong competition in the category, including “Cowboys Cry Too” (Kelsea Ballerini with Noah Kahan), “Break Mine” (Brothers Osborne), “Bigger Houses” (Dan + Shay), and “I Had Some Help” (Post Malone feat. Morgan Wallen). The win was announced during the 67th annual Grammy Awards Premiere Ceremony, which streamed online ahead of the televised broadcast.
Beyoncé’s Grammy night was far from over. With 11 total nominations, including nods for her album “Cowboy Carter,” and her singles “Texas Hold ‘Em” and “Bodyguard,” she holds the title of the most-nominated artist in the history of the awards. Her nominations also span several categories, including best country album and best melodic rap performance.
Earlier in the day, Beyoncé hinted at a future tour in support of *Cowboy Carter*, making it clear the year ahead would be just as groundbreaking for her career.
