Beyonce is reportedly next up to get her AMC concert movie.
Deadline reported that the iconic singer is next in line for a documentary film that features her “Renaissance” world tour. An announcement confirming the news is expected to happen soon.
As for a release date, it has been reported as early as Dec. 1. Deadline also reported that the date was chosen as a way to capitalize on the post-Thanksgiving weekend dead week and to have 2023 go out with a bang.
At this point, it’s unclear if this would only be a domestic release or an international one.
The movie may feature two of Beyonce’s Houston shows last week.
Taylor Swift already landed a similar movie deal with AMC with her “Eras” show. It is expanding to a worldwide release after a massive amount of demand from ticket-buyers here in North America, TMZ reported.
AMC has said it’s already on pace to rake in at least $100 million during its opening weekend.
