Beyonce’s lead background dancer of 6 years, Ashley Everett (pictured left), sat down with The Insider for an interview where she talked about her career dancing for Bey, touring & of course Beyonce & Jay’s rumored relationship problems.
“I think after a certain amount of time there’s only so much a person can take, but she’s expressed it through her art and through her music and so I guess that’s her outlet.”
Here’s the thing — stay in a background dancer’s place, sis. Do you hate your job, because you’re going to lose it. Seeing as how the dancers couldn’t even tell anyone about Beyonce’s pregnancy, or Beyonce’s secret music videos, I know she didn’t think talking to the press in any form was okay. It’s sad because after Les Twins, she was my favorite Bey dancer. I’m gonna miss her ass when Bey kicks her off the tour and she never works again.
Also in the interview we find out that once Jay & Bey wrap up their On The Run Tour in Paris next month, the couple will be going on a much needed 5-week vacation. Also, as far as Beyonce as a boss Ashley says, “She is much more down to earth than I think a lot of people think. Especially now since she has Blue. She use to be like all about work and now it’s about family and Blue.”
