Beyoncé’s ‘Homecoming: The Live Album’ and Lemonade are on the Billboard 200 chart in the Top 10 at #4 and #9, respectively.
‘Lemonade’ re-entered the chart after being re-released on all music streaming platforms for the first time, including Apple Music and Spotify. The album was originally only available on Tidal and peaked at #1 on the Billboard 200 in 2016. ‘Lemonade’ opened with 653,000 album-equivalent units and added another 30,000 units last week.
‘Homecoming’, a Netflix concert film recorded during her 2018 Coachella set, rose up the chart from 7 to 4 after its first full week, earning 57,000 equivalent album units. The album debuted on the list just two days after its release on April 17.
With ‘Homecoming: The Live Album’ and ‘Lemonade’ both in the top 10, this is Beyoncé’s first time claiming two concurrent top 10 albums. The last artist to accomplish the same feat was Lady Gaga, who scored two top 10’s in 2017, following her Super Bowl halftime show performance.
Beyonce’s release of ‘Lemonade’ on all streaming platforms has brought two other classic Bey albums back on the list. ‘I Am… Sasha Fierce’ and her self-titled ‘Beyonce’ album re-entered charts as well.
