Beyhive rejoice! Beyoncé confirmed she will hit the road on the “Renaissance Tour” next year by auctioning off a ticket package at WACO (Where Art Can Occur) Theater’sTheater’s fifth annual Wearable Art Gala.
The event, held Saturday in Santa Monica, made its triumphant return after a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic. And up for grabs was a concert ticket package valued at $20,000. Someone attending the event snagged a photo and posted it to social media.
While the winning bid is unconfirmed, it’s rumored to have gone for about $150,000.
The package confirms the tour will take place in the summer of 2023 and includes two first-class plane tickets, hotel accommodations, and two concert tickets. The lucky winner also receives a guided backstage experience with Tina Knowles-Lawson.
It was previously reported that Beyoncé was booking stadiums across the globe and that a tour announcement would be forthcoming. So far, no formal tour announcement has been made.
Beyoncé dropped Renaissance in July, and all 16 of the album’s tracks hit the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Bey became the sixth female to achieve the feat, joining Taylor Swift, Cardi B, Ariana Grande, Adele, and Olivia Rodrigo.
The lead single, “Break My Soul,” reached No. 1, giving the singer her eighth solo No. 1.
