Rapper Bhad Bhabie is speaking about a Utah treatment facility that she alleges “abused” her and kept her “malnourished” during her stay at the center.
The rapper, real name Danielle Bregoli, took to Instagram on Sunday to share Hannah Archuleta’s video, who filed a lawsuit against Turn About Ranch. Archuleta claims she was sexually abused by a male staffer during her time at the treatment center in the suit. Archueta was sent to the ranch after her 2019 appearance on the Dr. Phil show. Bregoli was also sent to the center following her own Dr. Phil appearance.
“Turn About Ranch treatment facility punished this young lady Hannah for reporting that one of their staff members assaulted her,” she began the caption on her post.
“There’s been a Murder at this facility, reports of torture and now a report of sexual abuse and dr. Phil still continues to send trouble children here even after knowing this stuff has happened at this facility. This makes my blood boil,” Bregoli continued. “I went through being malnourished, abused, and having to do hard labor and being there while someone was murdered. I came back with more trauma then I went there with. I was sent to this place to get help.”
The murder she refers to took place in 2016 when a teenager staying at the facility beat 61-year-old staff member Jimmy Woolsey to death with a metal bar. The teen also attacked another staff member who survived but was disabled.
Bregoli alleges that the treatment center does not allow outside communication between the patients and their parents. Therefore, there is no way for the teens to report abuse during their stay. She also said in her caption that the ranch uses hard physical labor as a form of punishment.
“THESE CHILDREN ARE HELPESS THEY CANT CONTACT THEIR PARENTS. They can’t tell them what’s going on the ranch takes advantage of that,” her caption read. “If children don’t listen to them they don’t even let them use a proper rest room or eat real food they separate them from the other children , force them to sit in a desk facing a wall, make them do hard labor , use a porta potty , eat peanut butter sandwiches and cold ramen, sit it below freezing temperatures , pick weeds and put together over 20 piles of horse manure with a wheelbarrow. How is punishing children supposed to help them become better!!??”
