Rapper Bhad Bhabie, born Danielle Bregoli, is creating quite a stir on social media after she discussed her recent blackfishing controversy on Instagram Live.
Although Bregoli explains that a mix of foundation and lighting made her skin color look different in the moment, her bold statements, such as, “who wants to be black?,” have further upset many social media users.

Elsewhere in the Bregoli’s live, the rapper brought up Lil Kim in an effort to defend her stance in the argument. While admitting that she was a fan of the iconic female rapper, Bregoli said, “No disrespect towards her, but the girl wears foundation that’s too light for her face.” The rapper also began trending on Twitter as her self-comparison to ”the story of Tarzan” was not well-received.

The new controversy surrounding Bregoli began after she posted an IG video to her account, which showed her with a darker skin tone. Many of Bregoli’s followers had mixed feelings regarding her new look, and with today’s IG Live session, it appears that the rapper’s comments did not help.
