Two weeks ago, Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory, co-founder of the notorious Black Mafia Family, was freed from prison. Since his release, it seems that Big Meech is embracing his new life and even updating his appearance.
On Sunday, 5 Star Smiles, located in Miami, Florida, shared a video on Instagram of Meech getting a new set of veneers.
The dentist’s office wrote in the caption, “BIG MEECH said, “It’s time to smile again!”
In the video, Meech’s transformation is documented in real-time, showing him undergoing the tedious process of getting new teeth. Despite the negative comments surrounding the procedure, 5 Star Smile clarified that they took care of Big Meech’s other dental issues before giving him veneers.
According to the Federal Bureau of Prisons, Big Meech was transferred to a residential reentry program in Miami after serving nearly 20 years behind bars. In 2008, he was convicted on drug trafficking and money laundering charges. During the Black Mafia Family’s run, it is estimated they made over $200 million. Meech was arrested in 2005 and sentenced to 30 years. His rise has been documented in the hit series, “BMF,” starring his son, Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory Jr.
The prison website states that Big Meech’s sentence will officially end on January 27th, 2026. However, until then, he will remain under the watch of the transitional facility, though now, he can do so with a new smile.
