Big Sean Hints At Upcoming Marriage Proposal To Jhene Aiko: “It’s in the works, Don’t even trip”

Rapper Big Sean showered his girlfriend, singer Jhene Aiko, with kind words and compliments during a recent Instagram live they did together. During the live, the two hinted at an upcoming marriage proposal. Sean said, “you look good,” along with a string of more compliments. At that moment, she asked, “oh yeah, why don’t you marry me?”, in a cute, jokingly way. Sean responded seriously, “It’s in the works, Don’t even trip.”  Viewers became extremely excited in the comments at the thought of Sean proposing to Jhene.

The two seemed to be in separate locations during the Instagram live, which is assumed that they aren’t able to quarantine together at this time. They broke up back in March 2019, according to Hollywood Life, but have recently gotten back together. A commenter during the live asked if they were dating again. Sean responded, “Man, what you think?” The two have confirmed their relationship in a series of posts, dating back to January.

Jhene and Sean confirmed back in March 2019 that they had broken up after two years together. She was assumed to have thrown some lyrical jabs at Sean in her single “Triggered” that May, but said at a  later time that it wasn’t meant to diss him, and was her “moment of talking s***.” She still had a cordial enough relationship with Sean to be featured on his song “Single Again,” which was released in July 2019. They later joined forces again for the single, “None of Your Concern,” that came out last November.

On New Year’s Eve, Sean and Jhene revealed that their relationship had possibly rekindled. The two posted photos of them together, taking a selfie, which led fans to believe the Twenty88 duo were back together. When Jhene released her album ”Chilombo” this past March, Sean congratulated her publicly with a heartwarming message that read, “Congrats my baby, you earned this one,” “I love you, we all so proud!”
