While Bill Cosby is currently serving a prison sentence, the comedian went on a rant on his official Twitter account on Thanksgiving.
“Happy Thanksgiving & be thankful for the Native Americans. Yours truly, The Educator & The Political Prisoner,” he wrote, followed by several hashtags.
The tweets didn’t stop there; Cosby also went on to address fake news and black media outlets.
“Its #BlackFriday, so let’s spend our dollars with #BlackPressUSA & all Black media outlets that propel the truth and the facts, not Fake News,” he wrote. “The truth is in the pudding, this week Black Press USA proved its power and relevance to the world.”
Cosby is currently in the middle of serving a 3-10 year sentence for being accused of drugging and sexually assaulting a woman in 2004.
Although numerous women came forth alleging that they were abused by Cosby, Pennsylvania’s statute of limitations prevented them from going to trial.
During Cosby’s twitter rant, the former comedian also tweeted the link to an article to his first interview since beginning his sentence, where he said that the jurors who convicted him are ‘imposters.’ He also said that him being in prison is the result of a ‘set-up,’ and upon his release, he will not be remorseful.
