On Friday’s episode of HBO’s “Real Time With Bill Maher” the host once again said what we were all thinking.
In the episode he discusses Weekly Standard Magazine, a conservative publication that is apparently not here for Trump, and how they dug up a Vanity Fair article on Donald Trump keeping a volume of Hitler’s speeches at his bedside.
The comedian then does a hilarious bit where he “translates” a Hitler speech and it sounds remarkably like Donald Trump.
“We’re going to make Germany great again,” the speech began before accusing President Hindenberg of being “a stiff, very low energy.” He also pushed the envelope by saying, “We’re going to have to build a camp. And I will make the Jews pay for it,” referencing Trump’s plans for the wall in Mexico.
*Disclaimer* This isn’t really what Hitler was saying, but Bill Maher doesn’t speak German and neither do I, so who’s to say it’s NOT what Hitler was saying? Makes sense to me!
