Birdman Under Investigation For Lil Wayne’s Tour Bus Shooting

In an interesting turn of events, TMZ reports that Birdman is under investigation for allegedly orchestrating the plot to shoot up Lil Wayne’s tour bus, back in 2015. 

The incident occurred in Atlanta after a nightclub performance at the Compound. Sources say the shooting went down shortly before 4 am, minutes after the rapper’s tour buses pulled away from the venue. 

Though Weezy and his Young Money crew were on one of the two buses at the time of the incident, no one was injured. However, the shooter, Jimmy Carlton Winfrey, was sentenced to 20 years – 10 behind bars and another 10 on probation for pulling the trigger. 

Though it remains unclear who called for the hit, Cobb County District Attorney told TMZ that both Birdman and Young Thug are under investigation in connection to the shooting.
